On Sunday, 5-star inside linebacker Noah Sewell released his top eight schools, and the Georgia Bulldogs made the cut.
Sewell is from Orem, Utah, where he stars for Orem High School. At 6’2″ and 266 pounds and with a 4.75-second 40 yard dash time, it’s easy to speculate that Sewell meets the physical requirements to transition his playmaking ability from the high school to the college level.
In addition to UGA, Texas A&M, Oregon, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Alabama, and Ohio State rounded out Sewell’s top eight. For the 2020 class, UGA already has commitments from linebackers such as outside linebacker and five-star Mekhail Sherman. However, acquiring a player of Sewell’s caliber would certainly be a welcome addition to the UGA team as it looks to continue to put out elite talent for years to come.
