On Tuesday, 5-star athlete Darnell Washington released his top-three schools, which included the Georgia Bulldogs.
Washington, a 6-foot-8 260 pounder out of Las Vegas, Nevada, is ranked as the nation’s No. 1 athlete and No. 12 overall player in the class of 2020.
Washington posted to Instagram that he is down to three schools: Georgia, Miami and Tennessee – in no order.
Listed as an athlete, Washington has played tight end, wide receiver and defensive tackle for Desert Pines. He is being recruited as a tight end by Georgia.
Washington visited Georgia recently, during a late-July cookout weekend hosted by UGA.
