5-star recruit announces return trip to Athens

Yesterday, we posted that 4-star 2020 wide receiver Mike Wyman (Dudley HS/Greensboro, NC) will be making a return trip to Georgia for the annual G-Day game on April 20th.

Joining him in doing so will also be 2020 five-star cornerback Kelee Ringo (Scottsdale, Ariz./Saguaro), making his first trip to Athens since January.

Georgia is one of the many teams to survive Ringo’s (6’2″, 205 pounds) most recent round of cuts – he included UGA in his top 15, along with UCLA, Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio State, Washington and others. Right now, 80% of the 247Sports crystal ball is predicting Ringo will be a future Longhorn.

Ringo, who Georgia offered in July of 2018, ranks as the nation’s No. 12 overall player, No. 2 cornerback and the top player in the state of Arizona.

As of now, Kirby Smart is yet to offer a cornerback from the state of Georgia that we know of. Two five stars have received offers from UGA, one of them being Ringo and the other being Elias Ricks, an LSU commit.
