2023 5-star athlete Makai Lemon has announced a commitment date.
Lemon included Georgia among his top-7 schools earlier this month, which included Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Florida, Alabama and Michigan.
Lemon will announce his college decision on Aug. 7.

Out of Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, Cal., Lemon is rated as the No. 2 player in the state of California, the No. 4 athlete in the country and the No. 29 recruit overall in the 2023 class, per 247Sports.
Lemon played all three phases as a sophomore in 2020 and can play cornerback or receiver at the college level.
Lemon’s teammate and fellow five-star Malachi Nelson recently committed to Oklahoma and 247Sports currently predicts Lemon to follow suit.
Georgia currently holds the No. 1 ranked class for the 2023 cycle.
