Members of the pop punk band 5 Seconds of Summer -- Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, and Michael Clifford -- posed for the January issue of Rolling Stone magazine, causing a massive Twitter storm.
However, fans have been left reeling due to the content of the band’s interview in the issue, with some even suggesting it can’t be true due to it’s shocking nature, reports mirror.co.uk.
In particular, comments made by Hemmings about having sex with lots of girls while on tour has caused fans to question the band’s decision.
i hate when people include everything in an article EXCEPT the reason we're a band; the fans

Confused fans took to Twitter to question the interview.
just because we're fans doesn't mean we have to agree with everything 5sos say and do

Others suggested it has been taken out of context, adding: “Why do I feel like the whole 5SOS Rolling Stones article was taken way out of context and no one will confirm it for us.”
What Luke said in that article.... I already didn't like 5sos but wow I really don't like them now

No, i don't hate 5SOS. I don't like what Luke said and I'm disappointed. That doesn't mean i hate the whole band.

I don't know what to think about @5SOS anymore. Cause they haven't denied it. So there is a possibility that that actually is true.

While others just hope the whole thing is fake.
“I really really hope that Rolling Stones article is fake BC if not then the reality of 5sos being nice guys is dead for real,” wrote a user.
