5 Seconds Of Summer Just Announced A World Tour & We Are SO Back, Baby

5 Seconds Of Summer Australian Tour

5 Seconds of Summer are back, baby!!!!! Australia’s pop-rock phenomenon that you thirsted over way back when recently announced their comeback era, featuring a bold new album and a freshly revealed tour, titled EVERYONE’S A STAR! World Tour.

The Sydney-born quartet — consisting of Luke Hemmings (vocals/guitar), Michael Clifford (guitar/vocals), Calum Hood (bass/vocals) and Ashton Irwin (drums/vocals) — surprised fans earlier this year with their comeback era, featuring an aesthetic that harkens back to their pop-punk roots.

It’s their first proper album since 2022, and from what we’ve heard so far, it’s shaping up to be their most daring one yet. Think: genre-bending chaos, experimental sounds, and a healthy dose of nostalgia.

Speaking on the album’s inspo, the boys have cited influences like N.E.R.D., Gorillaz, and The Prodigy, which gives you a pretty good indication of what we’re in for.

They kicked things off earlier this year with “NOT OK”, complete with a slick video directed by Hannah Lux Davis (you know, the mastermind behind visuals for Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus). Then came “Boyband”, their tongue-in-cheek love letter to fans and a wink to their label.

Along with the tour announcement, the band just released its new single “Telephone Busy” from the hotly anticipated forthcoming new album EVERYONE’S A STAR!, due November 14th.

In the meantime, here’s everything we know about the tour.
