4 rookies on PUP
The Seahawks’ rookies have reported for training camp like the Cardinals’ rookies but Seattle has several who cannot practice yet. They put four of their rookies on the preseason PUP.
Training camp began for rookies
The Arizona Cardinals had their soft opening of training camp last week, as rookies reported on Wednesday. They were not the only team. The Seattle Seahawks also opened camp the same day for rookies.
Pete Carroll No. 2 in coaching power rankings
Despite the recent success of the Los Angeles Rams under coach Sean McVay, Carroll still gets the respect many feel he deserves. He was ranked behind only Bill Belichick in Elliott Harrison’s coaching power rankings.
Seahawks still want to have top running game
The Seahawks had the league’s top rushing attack a year ago. They lost backup RB Mike Davis in free agency but they still have their eyes on that top spot. They will do it with Chris Carson, who was No. 5 in rushing in the league last year, and Rashaad Penny.
Russell Wilson ranked No. 3 in QB list
Wilson continues to get respect for his play. In Touchdown Wire’s rankings of the top 11 quarterbacks in the league, Wilson comes in at No. 3.
