We have reached the end of another week and it is time to look around the NFC West to keep up with the Arizona Cardinals’ division rivals. What has been going on with the Seattle Seahawks during the summer break leading up to training camp?
Here are the stories from last week Cardinals fans should know.
Pete Carroll excited about kicking game

After a couple of years of change at kicker, the Seahawks have a new kicker under contract for four years in Jason Myers. Pete Carroll is thrilled with what he saw in the offseason and is optimistic for what the kicking game has in store for the team.
Clock ticking on contract extension for Bobby Wagner

Bobby Wagner still has not signed his franchise tag tender and is unsigned, although he was present for all offseason work. He just didn’t practice. He was helpful as a leader and as a teammate. However, the clock is ticking to get a long-term deal done with one of the top players in the league.
Training camp schedule announced

The Cardinals still have not announced their training camp schedule. The Seahawks did and will have 12 practices open to the public. They do fan attendance differently, as fans must register to attend. It isn’t like showing up to State Farm Stadium. There is a limited number of fans who can attend a practice.
Chris Carson ranked as No. 18 RB in league

There was some outrage to former NFL running back Maurice Jones-Drew’s running back rankings, as he put Cardinals RB David Johnson as ranked No. 25 in the league. Seattle’s Carson didn’t fare much better, coming in at No 19.
Who could be a first-time Pro Bowler for the Seahawks?

We picked four Cardinals players as the most likely to be a first-time Pro Bowler this season. For the Seahawks defensive lineman Jarran Reed is that player people predict.
