Director of Municipal Administration N. Satyanrayana has notified the municipal commissioners that the government has allowed 5% rebate in property tax for citizens across the 141 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) across Telangana if the payment is made by this month end for the current year - 2022-2023.
The municipal commissioners have been advised to give wide publicity and sensitize colony associations and others about this offer which will end by April 30. The offer is applicable to those paying the entire year’s (2022-23) tax including arrears if any. Display boards are to be put up in all municipal offices, government departments, bus stands, railway stations and other public places.
