Alford is not technically on the Cardinals roster as he is on injured reserve. However, he was released this past offseason by the Falcons. He was originally drafted by Atlanta in the second round in 2013 and played six seasons there. He played 88 games and started 76 of them. He had 10 interceptions and broke up 85 passes in six seasons.

Peters has been with the Cardinals since 2015 but spent his first five seasons with the Falcons. He was a third-round pick by Atlanta in 2010. He played in 71 games, started 55 and had 11 sacks and 146 tackles.
