BHOPAL: Only five new Covid-19 cases were reported in the state on Wednesday, taking the count of cases reported so far in the state to 7,92,114.
There were a total of 79 active cases in the state as on Wednesday.
No new case was reported from 48 districts of the state. Only one case was reported from three of the four districts where new cases were reported. Maximum cases were reported from Bhopal district where two new cases were found and one case each was reported from Hoshangabad, Indore and Jabalpur districts.
Positivity rate of 0.01% was reported. As many as 66,668 samples were tested and of it three were found positive. A total of 10 people recovered from the disease taking the count to 7,81,519. No death was reported in the state and the death toll due to Covid-19 remained 10,516.
