5 moments missed from Sidemen vs YouTube Allstars' 15-goal thriller as KSI gets clattered

Sidemen FC defeated the YouTube AllStars with a encapsulating 8-7 victory at Charlton Athletic 's Valley on Saturday afternoon in their latest instalment of their charity match series.

Niko Omilana, Miniminter and TBJZL all got braces throughout the afternoon, with Chunkz, Vikkstar, Yung Filly, and Theo Baker all getting on the scoresheet in what was a thrilling game. American FIFA Youtuber Castro, Chris MD and WillNE were also among the goalscorers as the YouTube AllStars earned a slender victory.

Manny levelled matters late on but Miniminter proved to be the matchwinner as he chipped home a stunning strike with just minutes remaining.

Here are five standout moments from what turned out to be a thoroughly entertaining day:

Chunkz scores a worldie

A man already of Soccer Aid fame having already played a three events, Chunkz was given another opportunity to display his skills at The Valley.

He did that and much more as he notched the first goal of the game and it truly was a stunning effort. Having set his sights from range, the ball arrowed into the top corner, leaving Sidemen goalkeeper Pieface beumsed over the strike.

To his credit, it was a shot that a Premier League goalkeeper would likely have struggled to stop so huge credit certainly has to go to Chunkz for the goal.

Speed crunches KSI

The tone of the game was certainly set within seconds as YouTube star IShowSpeed clattered into KSI within seconds of kick-off.

The American flew into the fledgling boxing star just 16 seconds after the game had begun. He bounced around with excitement after the crunching tackle while KSI, one of the co-founders of the Sidemen group, picked himself up from the turf.

Fortunately, no harm was done and KSI was quick to get back into the action, flying into a tackle of his own shortly after to thwart fellow English YouTuber Theo Baker as he attempted to break through on goal.

Clattenburg on the end of Speed's fury

Speaking of Speed, the American also had former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg in his crosshairs too after he was reintroduced onto the pitch.

He thought he had managed to get his name on the scoresheet with a low effort and ran off wildly to celebrate. He then attempted to copy his favourite player Cristiano Ronaldo with his iconic celebration.

That did not last very long though as the linesman elected the 17-year-old offside. Speed did not take too kindly to that decision as he launched a verbal tirade at Clattenburg and whipped him with the shirt that he had removed in the process of celebrating.

Miniminter emulates Ronaldo

One of the better players on the Sidemen FC starting XI, Mimiminter - real name Simon Minter - has regularly displayed his goalscoring ability with numerous strikes in previous events.

He did that again as a low cross appeared to fortunately dribble into the net behind YouTube All Stars goalkeeper Cal The Dragon from the right-flank. Whether he meant it or not is up for debate but his celebration was certainly intentional.

Miniminter, like Speed, elected to emulate Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo as he pulled out the Portuguese's iconic "SIU" celebration, with the crowd at The Valley joining in. Fortunately, his celebrations were not cut short.

Fellow YouTuber WillNE did exactly the same as he pulled out two versions of the celebration following his goal.

Aspiring Youtubers take to the pitch

It would be fair to say that there was far more YouTube and TikTok ability on the pitch than actual footballing talent - the players in the match accounting for millions of subscribers between them.

However, it appeared that the spectators at the stadium wanted a slice of the action too. On three occasions throughout the game, the pitch was invaded - a number of those encroaching having cameras in hand - no doubt in an effort to get their 15 minutes of fame.

One even went as far as joining in with Chunkz's celebrations after his goal.
