This includes electric vehicles, Jaguar’s, Mercedes’ and more. Read on to see which luxury vehicles could make great holiday gifts after a drop in price.
Mercedes EQE 350+
A luxury EV that’s going down in price? That’s what Ruth Calkins-Schmidt, auto expert and general manager at Findbyplate, said. After a disappointing sales year, Calkins-Schmidt said consumers will probably be seeing a big price drop.
“Even with the EV tax credit [gone], this luxury SUV which has already begun to see price slashed, would most likely see more price slashed later this year as there is still no proof that sales have picked up,” she noted.
The MSRP starts at $74,900, according to Cars.com.

Maserati Grecale
The Maserati Grecale starts at $70,000, per Cars.com, but that could soon be dropping. Calkins-Schmidt attributed this to competition and reliability issues.
“With the increased competition in the luxury SUV market, the Maserati Grecale will likely continue to experience price drops through the end of the year, both in an attempt to stay competitive and attract buyers and the recent sales decline,” she explained.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class
“As the demand increases among the buyers of the more environmentally friendly models, the prices of the traditional gas guzzlers luxury cars would tend to drop especially in cases where the auto manufacturers cannot respond in a timely manner,” Anthony Bowers, the founder of LMI Waiver, explained.
Bowers said that the S-Class is likely going to drop in price because luxury car buyers are looking to make the switch to electric. Currently, the MSRP for a Mercedes-Benz S-Class is $118,900, according to Kelley Blue Book.
Audi Q7
Bowers said that, even as chic as the Q7 is, there might be more hype than demand for the model.
“A model that was previously a precious one due to its exclusiveness, can lose its value significantly simply because the manufacturers or dealerships exaggerated the demand,” he pointed out.
The Audi Q7 starts at $61,795, according to Kelley Blue Book.
Range Rover Autobiography
A truly luxury SUV, the Range Rover Autobiography starts at $154,700, according to RangeRover.com. However, bringing this vehicle into your fleet might cost a little less if you wait a few more months.
George Kotev, the head of the operations team at Unlimited Auto Trans, said the Autobiography is one of the high-priced vehicles that is likely to drop soon.
“Based on current trends, we may also see selective depreciation in high-end SUVs, like the Range Rover Autobiography, as newer luxury SUV models are released,” Kotev shared.
