New York Giants kicker Aldrick Rosas was arrested and charged with a hit and run in California earlier this week, but that may be just the beginning of his legal problems.
In addition to a hit and run, Rosas was charged with driving with a suspended license and could also face DUI charges after fleeing the scene of the crash and later being discovered walking roughly a mile away covered in blood.
At the very least, Rosas can expect to hear from the NFL regarding a suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, which means the Giants are in a pickle.
Here’s a quick look at five kickers the team could potentially sign to replace Rosas or bridge the gap on any potential suspension.

Ryan Succop
The Tennessee Titans remain open to bringing Ryan Succop back in 2020, but they may have competition for his services now.
Succop was derailed by injuries last season, seeing action in just six games while making two stints on injured reserve. Prior to that, the veteran had not missed a single game in his career and was a fairly reliable placekicker.
Succop has connected on 82.2% of his field goal attempts and 97.1% of his point after attempts throughout his 11-year NFL career.

Stephen Gostkowski
By far the most obvious name on this list, it’s almost hard to believe Stephen Gostkowski remains a free agent.
Once upon a time, Gostkowski was near lock as a kicker, but he had trended downward in recent seasons and managed to play in only four games a season ago. Still, at 36 years old, Gostkowski remains a potentially reliable player for a team in need and that’s precisely what the Giants are right now.
Gostkowski has connected on 87.4% of his field goal attempts and 98.3% of his point after attempts throughout his 14-year NFL career. He is a four-time Pro Bowler and three-time combined All-Pro.

Adam Vinatieri
Speaking of once upon a time, we also have Adam Vinatieri out there for the taking… The future Hall of Famer is arguably one of the greatest kickers in NFL history and is still doing it at 47 year old.
Although not nearly as automatic as he once was, the four-time Pro Bowler and three-time First Team All-Pro is still capable of getting things done.
Vinatieri has connected on 83.8% of his field goal attempts and 97.3% of his point after attempts throughout his 24-year NFL career. Yes, 24-year career.

Nick Folk
The 35-year-old Nick Folk replaced Stephen Gostkowski in New England last season after a year away from the NFL (played in the AAF) and performed admirably.
Folk may not be the automatic kicker the Giants would like, but neither was Rosas after his remarkable rookie campaign.
Over the course of his 12-year NFL career, Folk has connected on 80.4% of his field goal attempts and 98.9% of his point after attempts.

Cody Parkey
The 28-year-old Cody Parkey exploded onto the scene as a rookie in 2014, earning a trip to the Pro Bowl and a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team. However, things went slowly downhill from there.
Parkey has bounced around from team to team, spending last season with the Titans (just three games). He does not appear to be in the mix to return in Tennessee and is open for the taking.
Over the course of his six-year NFL career, Parkey has connected on 84.3% of his field goal attempts and 95.1% of his point after attempts.
