The Philadelphia Eagles completed their offseason program this week with a three-day mandatory minicamp. The team with Super Bowl aspirations had several standouts during the week of practices, including tight end Dallas Goedert and cornerback Avonte Maddox. On the flip side, guys like Clayton Thorson and Wendell Smallwood have left a lot to be desired.
With training camp less than two months away, here are four Eagles whose stock is up after the mandatory minicamp.
Avonte Maddox
Right now today, Maddox is the best corner on the team and a versatile jack of all trades who has increased his value by being able to play several positions. He has to start, can play the slot based on matchups, can play safety based on injury and could be the reason Sidney Jones or Jalen Mills are traded.

Marken Michel
Michel is the brother of former Georgia All-American and current Patriots star running back, Sony Michel.
Michel signed a futures/reserve deal after racking up 31 catches for 435 yards with five touchdowns for Calgary in 2018. He then caught 41 passes for 730 yards and three touchdowns in 2017 as a rookie for the Stampeders. Michel is a fast receiver who has a legit shot at making the roster and has impressed so much that ESPN.com’s NFL Nation named the talented wideout one of their 32 surprise offseason standouts heading into training camp.

Boston Scott
Scott has a unique skill that may translate into the speedy running back stealing a roster spot. His ability in the return game has made him valuable and Darren Sproles an afterthought. If he can continue to be a one-cut back who can make plays in the return game, look for Scott to snatch a roster spot.

Dallas Goedert
Goedert has star potential, and if not for having Zach Ertz as a teammate, he might be regularly featured on the list of the top five or ten tight ends in all of football. He’s now listed as a starter at tight end, and both he and Ertz are so versatile, that they’re now interchangeable. Goedert has no weaknesses and is a better blocker than Ertz at the point of attack.

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside
He’ll start the season off as the fourth receiver on the team, yet he’ll be front and center for the Eagles red zone packages. Arcega-Whiteside is a playmaker and he’ll have plenty of highlight reel plays as a rookie. With his body control and freakish athletic ability while in the air, the sky literally is the limit.
