'£5 delivery? Jog on'... driver spotted with GREENHOUSE strapped to roof of car

A driver was caught on camera with a huge greenhouse precariously strapped to the roof of their car.

The motorist was filmed driving slowly along a main road in Rochdale with the bizarre load on the top of their tiny Ford Fiesta.

At almost twice as tall as the little red hatchback, the greenhouse dwarfed the car and came perilously close to hitting telegraph wires overhead.

The astonishing moment was filmed on Bolton Road in the Marland area of Rochdale.

It's since been shared more than 5,000 times on Facebook.

Loads of people have been commenting on the video.

Craig Townsend wrote: "I think he got the wrong idea when he heard about cars trying to be more green."

Tarcye Burke posted: "That greenhouse should not have been on top of any cars at all police should have stopped the driver booked and fine people."

Steven Donalds quipped: "£5 delivery? Jog on."

David Gardner wrote: "Imagine the image on the speeding ticket if he was speeding."

Dave Sage said: "Finally we can visualise our greenhouse gases in action."
