5 cool ways to style shorts in summers

When it comes to hot weather, every one wants to feel more comfortable, more breezy. Men's shorts are the ultimate style quotient all through summers. They are always perfect for the season and the occasion, and you may dress them up or down to fit your fashion style. When it comes to how to wear shorts, most men can't understand it. It is perfectly possible to wear shorts and appear fashionable if a few simple rules are followed. For reference, if you're wondering how to wear shorts to work on a casual Saturday, combine a formal shirt and shorts, or if you're going on a trip, shorts are the classic method to get effortless style while being at ease.

Today, shorts may be worn in a variety of ways, ranging from preppy to casual to sporty. The most common fabric used in shorts is cotton, and cotton blends, along with linen and denim. With shorts any look is achievable, you just have to follow a few simple rules to really step it up this summer.

Don't Be Scared To Experiment With Colour

Colourful shorts are a great way to spice up your outfit with a little funk and variety. Most men would avoid wearing brightly coloured chinos or pants. Shorts, on the other hand, doesn't have too much fabric and is a perfect option for the summertime madness. Although, if you're wearing bright-coloured shorts, you'll want to make sure that the top and shoes are pretty subtle and subdued. Experimenting and playing with some creative patterns and colours that will set you apart from your peers, is a great way to stand out.

Nailing The Length

The golden rule for men wearing shorts and looking fantastic is just to get the length right. When it comes to shorts, there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all. Instead, it is more about how tall you are versus how long the shorts you wear are. Keep in mind that you maintain 1 to 3 inches of skin above your knee, at all times, while wearing shorts. If you wear shorts with a longer inseam length than your height, your legs may appear shorter than they actually are. If your shorts are a little longer, you can easily cuff them up once or twice to get the desired length. The goal is to balance out your body and select shorts that flatter your physique.

Go For A Two-Piece Matching Set

As the name suggests, two-piece sets, or co-ords as they're more commonly known, are ones with matching top and bottom. They are kind of similar to jerseys but more casual and undoubtedly more fun. Recently, many celebrities and influencers are flaunting their own definitions of co-ords, while also putting their own personal touch on the ensemble. So, two-piece outfits are the way to go this summer. With co-ords, you don't have to worry about anything except the shoes you're going to pair them with.

The Classic Summer Casual

It's a no-brainer on this one, combine a striped shirt with short sleeves with khaki shorts and penny loafers. This outfit can easily become a summertime wardrobe staple. Of course, you can wear shorts with a plain t-shirt or polo, but a short-sleeve button-up shirt gives you a more polished look with minimal effort. You can also add a dress belt and/or a blazer to the ensemble to make it more formal.

Pair It With A Short-Sleeve Button-Down Shirt

This is the simplest style to create and is ideal for summer. Of course, you can wear shorts with a plain t-shirt or polo, but a short-sleeve button-up shirt makes you look a bit more put-together with no effort. A white singlet and a pair of mid-length shorts will look great with almost any short-sleeved button shirt. Try to wear mid-length shorts and avoid wearing boldly patterned shorts so that your shirt may be the major focus of the look. Put on some white shoes and sunglasses, and you're ready to rock the city-dwelling beach bum look.

You now have the basic knowledge to go out and control the summer as long as you have a place for trendy pair of shorts in your wardrobe.
