Though the regular season is still a few months away, the fantasy football season has already entered the pre-draft process. As managers look to target potential draft picks, the Indianapolis Colts are likely to have several players making an impact.
At this point in the offseason, there is hype flying around everywhere regarding almost every player that has fantasy relevance. Some of it might be true, but most of it should be taken with a grain of salt. Still, the Colts are expected to have some seriously strong fantasy assets in 2019.
Here are five Colts to target in fantasy football drafts:

QB Andrew Luck
He might be the most obvious Colt to target, but he still needs a slide. The franchise quarterback is coming off of one his best seasons since entering the league in 2012, and the projection is still pointing up.
Leading Frank Reich’s offense for the second season, Luck is in line to be one of the top producers in the league. He has a plethora of weapons at every skill position and will be working behind one of the best offensive lines in football.
The Colts do want to run the ball more but don’t let that scare you. There will be plenty of volume for Luck to rack up fantasy points, especially seeing as they ran the third-most plays from scrimmage in 2018.
As long as he stays healthy, Luck has a chance to be in the conversation for QB1.

RB Marlon Mack
Currently being drafted as the RB15 at the beginning of the third round, Mack is true breakout candidate in 2019. His stock reflects that and though he probably shouldn’t be drafted before the third round, he has a chance to be a strong fantasy contributor.
After returning from his hamstring injury in Week 6, Mack produced in a monumental way for fantasy managers. In those 11 games to end the season, Mack was the RB7 in standard leagues averaging 14.3 fantasy points per game.
Now, there is some concern with Mack’s ceiling given that he’s a limited pass catcher and he could relinquish some goal-line work to Spencer Ware, but he’s poised for a career year in 2019.

WR T.Y. Hilton
Because Hilton lacks touchdown upside, the speedster will forever be undervalued in fantasy football drafts. Yet, he still finds his way into the conversation to be a WR1 (top 12 at the position). The same goes for 2019.
Hilton is currently being drafted at the end of the second and early third as the WR9. That’s solid value for a wide receiver that has WR1 upside every single week as long as he’s healthy. Even if he’s not, he still produces.
From Weeks 11–17, Hilton racked up the second-most fantasy points among wide receivers while leading the NFL in receiving yards. He did so all with two sprains on the same ankle.
Don’t overthink Hilton. If he’s available at the end of the second round and beyond, he’s a solid pick.

TE Jack Doyle
The veteran tight end is entering the final year of his current contract. He missed the majority of the season due to injuries but is expected to return to his normal role as the leader in the tight end room.
Because he missed the spring workouts, Doyle’s draft stock is incredibly low. He’s being drafted as the TE20 and while that won’t stick as the season gets closer, he’s lining up to be a bargain yet again.
Doyle will be one of the few skill players on the field at all times for the Colts when healthy. He’s one of Andrew Luck’s favorite targets both in the red zone and on quick routes between the 20s.
Doyle is shaping up to be a strong late-round pick if you’re looking for consistency at the tight end position.

TE Eric Ebron
In all honesty, Ebron’s outlook in fantasy football isn’t a good one. He was an awesome surprise in 2018 recording the second-most receiving touchdowns in the league and finishing as the TE4 on the season. However, he has so much going against him that it’s hard seeing his current draft price in the sixth round being a value.
If Ebron winds up falling to double-digit rounds in your draft, he becomes a strong pick. However, his role is likely to be limited to red zone work while seeing the field roughly 30% of the snaps if Doyle is healthy.
Ebron is a great talent, and he has the upside the catch double-digit touchdowns—even in a reduced role. That alone makes him a target, but not likely not before the 10th round.

Honorable Mentions
WR Devin Funchess
It is best to wait and see what Funchess brings to the table in the preseason games before targeting him in drafts. His draft price isn’t crazy high, which is good in terms of him being a sleeper. However, he’s struggled in fantasy football for the majority of his career and his role with the Colts is still undefined. He could be a solid late-round flier, but I’m not targeting him before the 13th round until I see more in the preseason.
WR Parris Campbell
The flashy rookie is likely to be a hot commodity on draft day, but it would be wise to avoid overpaying for him. Drafting rookie wide receivers is typically a bad move in terms of early production. His role in the offense is still unclear, and it’s best to wait until the preseason games to determine whether he’s worth a draft pick. Campbell has a high ceiling, but it could be limited to begin his career until he gets his feet wet. He’s a great target in dynasty leagues, though.
