One of the reasons the Cleveland Browns have become national media darlings is the abundance of top-end talent the team has added in the last couple of years. That spike in star power is readily evident in the latest ranking of the Top 100 NFL players for 2019, this one from brother site Touchdown Wire.
Five Browns make Doug Farrar’s compilation. Four of the five were not on the team prior to April of 2018, a testament to how quickly GM John Dorsey has imported premium players.
The Browns who made the list and where they ranked:
No. 90 – Baker Mayfield
No. 69 – Denzel Ward
No. 48 – Myles Garrett
No. 39 – Kareem Hunt
No. 33 – Odell Beckham Jr.
The final two names here are new to the Browns. Hopefully the skills that placed them in such lofty company translate well to their new home in Cleveland.
