Hi, Detroit Lions fans, we made it to game one of the regular season. The Lions travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals at 4:25 pm, EST for a Week 1 matchup.
After a winless preseason, (which won’t be mentioned at all during the broadcast. *wink*) and plenty of injuries to the Cardinals, it’s go time.
Here are some predictions to go with it:
1. We will finally get to see the Matthew Stafford to T.J. Hockensen show. All passes will be to him. Fans will run through the Twitter streets with joy and delight.
2. Kerryon Johnson will get in on the action as well. He’ll go for 90 yards rushing, just short of the elusive century mark.
3. The Lions defense will not let Kyler Murray be great. They will contain, spy and sack him four times.
4. There will be at least one random penalty against the Lions that leaves us all scratching our heads… you know, like normal.
5. Boldest prediction of all. Lions come away with the win 28-14 with Stafford throwing for 285 yards.
