The beta for Overwatch 2 has been available for almost two weeks now and will be open until May 17, in that time, Blizzard has been working hard to give the beta regular updates, tweaking characters and squashing bugs to refine the game as much as possible before launch. The first update for May has recently released, and it gives several characters a major overhaul.
The Overwatch 2 patch notes detail a few quality of life changes in regard to the game’s presentation and several other miscellaneous bug fixes. What most people are interested in though, is what characters have been rebalanced, and by how much. Characters like Solider 76 have been labelled as overpowered during the beta, whilst others are barely getting used, so we’ll walk you through all the most important changes.
