5 best prop bets for Chiefs’ Week 3 matchup vs. Bears

Buy Chiefs Tickets

The Chicago Bears will try to avoid a dreaded 0-3 start when they visit Kansas City to take on the Chiefs on Sunday. Not much is going well for the Bears right now, but perhaps they’ll put up a valiant effort with their backs up against the wall. The Chiefs are looking to move to 2-1 and find some momentum on offense after a rusty first two weeks.

Let’s take a look at the best prop bets for this game from DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM:

WR Skyy Moore ANYTIME TD (+210) - DraftKings

I understand still being a little leery about Moore after he no-showed in Week 1, but last week’s 70-yard and one-touchdown performance is a step in the right direction. Moore is expected to be a big part of the Chiefs’ offense and could be quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ top receiver with Kadarius Toney potentially missing this game with a toe injury.

QB Justin Fields OVER 49.5 rushing yards (-114) - FanDuel

Running the ball is still the strength of Fields’ game at this point in his NFL career. In Week 1 he rushed for 59 yards and in 2022 he averaged 76 rushing yards per game. This week Fields talked to the media about simplifying his approach and getting back to listening to his instincts. That has running the ball written all over it.

TE Travis Kelce OVER 6.5 receptions (-105) - BetMGM

Even with being eased back into action after missing Week 1, Kelce caught four passes and a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He should have the rust knocked off and be back to his usual self for this game. A matchup against a struggling Bears’ defense that could be without its best player, safety Eddie Jackson is too good to pass on.

K Cairo Santos OVER 4.5 points scored (+105) - BetMGM

Santos is returning to Kansas City to face the team that he spent the first four seasons of his career with. Santos is one of the most reliable kickers in the league, missing an average of only two field goals per year since 2020. The Chiefs’ defense is a bit bend-but-don’t-break, so Santos should have some opportunities in this game. K.C. allowed three field goals to the Jags last week.

Chiefs OVER 30.5 total team points (-110) - DraftKings

The Chiefs are looking to get right offensively and a home matchup against the Bears should do the trick. K.C. has too much talent and is too well-coached to continue to struggle. The Chiefs moved the ball between the 20s well last week and likely would have scored over 30 points if not for 12 penalties. Expect them to clean up the mistakes and hit their stride in this game.
