‘Devil in a Blue Dress’ (1995)

‘District 9’ (2009)

“District 9” takes place in Johannesburg, South Africa, where an alien spaceship becomes stranded, and its occupants — derogatorily called “prawns” — are confined to a government-controlled slum called District 9.

Wikus van de Merwe (Sharlto Copley), a bureaucrat tasked with relocating the aliens, is exposed to their biotechnology during the operation and begins to undergo a shocking physical transformation into one of them.
