The most stylish — and highly-anticipated — film of 2026, The Devil Wears Prada 2, is finally on our screens, serving looks in every just about scene. And while the characters are dripped up in international designers for a lot of the film (exhibit A: the title), I’m here to report that some Australian brands have made the cut!
Yep, little ol’ Australia is busting into the big leagues with its most stylish brands (and one of them is even a small business!)
From one pair of cult-favourite sunglasses to a notorious Aussie designer, our designers are finally getting their time to shine on a global scale. So, I put my boots on the ground to hunt down all of the Australian brands featured not only in the film, but on the press tour in the lead up to the premiere, too.
And hey, some of these brands are more affordable than you might think!
Australian Brands Spotted In The Devil Wears Prada 2
Shevoke

The first Aussie brand that caught the eye of The Devil Wears Prada 2‘s costume department was accessories label Shevoke. Its Zulu Sunglasses ($276.63) made multiple appearances throughout the film, and was one of Andy Saachs’ (Anne Hathaway) go-tos.
Do these frames look familiar to you? They were everywhere during the 2024/2025 summer season as the internet discovered Shevoke for the first time. The Zulu sunnies, with its sleek, cat-eye frame, were a viral sensation. I won’t be surprised if they have a second wave now that they’ve been featured in the film. And while they’re not the cheapest pair of sunglasses, they’re still hundreds of dollars more affordable than some of the other bougie frames featured.
Zimmermann

Zimmermann is one of Australia’s most successful high-end designers, so it’s no surprise that it’s been added to the lineup of bougie fashion houses featured in the film. While the brand is best known for it’s patterned, flowy bohemian dresses reminiscent of a whimsical garden party, its featured piece, a green leather capelet ($1,250 USD), leans more urban chic. Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt) styles it over a tweed blazer and skirt set and tight pants with matching green gloves.
While Zimmermann’s leather capelet is sold out, if you want to recreate the look for yourself, the brand has an embroidered lace variation ($795). Selmacilek also has a very similar version ($576.32, usually $799.16) if you want to stick to the leather look.

Vestirsi

Aussie brands got their fair share of the spotlight alongside some of fashion’s biggest names. First on the agenda is Australian handbag and accessories label, Vestirsi, that was seen on both Emily Blunt and Simone Ashley. Both actresses opted for sleek black bags, the kind of essential that can be taken from day to night.
Blunt was seen with the Vera Baguette ($379), and Ashley carried the Ashley Bag ($279) (they share a name, so she kinda had to?!). I can’t express enough to you how much I NEED Blunt’s bag in my wardrobe.
Bared Footwear

Bared Footwear has been everywhere recently. From Alix Earle wearing the brand’s chunky boots to Coachella to Meryl Streep rocking the Mino Black Leather Hardware Heeled Boot ($389), a black ankle boot littered with silver studs. They’re a great way to add a fun statement to a monochromatic outfit.
Maison de Sabré

Meryl Streep has been channelling some serious Miranda Priestly business baddie energy during the press tour, wearing power suits galore at every junket, interview, and carpet. To go with her all black ensemble, she wore The Medium Palais Bag ($829) from Australian brand Maison de Sabré. It’s a structured top handle bag, with a surprising amount of room inside to store your everyday essentials (I have the red version of this and I can personally vouch for it — it’s great).
We’ll keep adding to this list if we spot more Aussie brands whenever we rewatch the film (which will be a LOT), so keep checking in!
