With another week gone by, it is time to go around the NFC West and see what is new with the division rivals of the Arizona Cardinals. What has been going on in the last week for the San Francisco 49ers?
Here are some of the stories to know.
1st-round pick Nick Bosa out with hamstring injury

The knock on Bosa, the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, was his durability. He has suffered a hamstring strain in the offseason and probably is out until training camp. That is a tough break for the 49ers, who continue to have bad luck with injuries.
Matt Breida out for OTAs

Speaking of injuries, the Niners will be missing another couple of players during OTAs. Running back Matt Breida, who struggles to stay healthy last year, has a slightly torn pec, while linebacker Fred Warner has some knee issues that will keep him out until training camp.
Another injury to Jimmie Ward

San Francisco continues to have bad luck with injuries and Ward has another one. He ended the last three seasons on injured reserve but the 49ers still re-signed him. He fractured his collarbone and is out until at least the start of training camp.
Defensive alignment changes LB roles

The 49ers are not changing their defensive scheme like the Cardinals are, as Arizona is going back to a 3-4 after running a 4-3 last season. San Francisco will still be a 4-3 team but will line things up slightly differently. Here are the details and comments.
