BHOPAL: A total of 5.33 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in the state on Monday, as per the state health bulletin released by directorate of health services.
With these doses being administered on Monday, a total of 6.66 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the state so far.
Among the districts where maximum doses were administered on Monday include Sagar district where 41,225 doses were administered, then it was Khargone district where 37,288 doses were administered, followed by Morena district where 34,401 doses were administered, and then it was Rewa where 30,201 doses were administered.
Indore district reported administration of 14,396 doses of Covid-19 vaccines at 223 sites, including nine private centres on Monday, even when the drive resumed after a gap of three days.With this the district has administered 45.63 lakh doses, including 16.51 lakh as second doses, so far.
Vaccination is now being carried out on all days including Sundays in the state. On Monday it was carried out at more than 8400 government vaccination centres’ in the state. Vaccination of pregnant women had also started in the state from July 23 onwards. However, the vaccination of expecting women will be carried out on Tuesdays and Fridays.
