Damontre Moore was having a nice game against the Broncos, but he had to exit early and is officially questionable to return with a thumb injury.
Moore’s best play of the game came on a long completion to Emmanuel Sanders where he got around left tackle Garett Bolles and drew a holding call. He would’ve had a free run at quarterback Joe Flacco’s blind side had Bolles not grabbed him.
The former AAF star had a good preseason opener against the Cowboys and was putting together another strong showing in Denver. He’s on the outside looking in at a roster spot, but he could be playing his way into a practice squad spot or a job on another club if the 49ers do wind up cutting him.
