The 49ers had a huge swing in the third quarter that started with a K’Waun Williams interception for the first takeaway of the game.
He had tight coverage on WR Cedrick Wilson, and Cowboys QB Dak Prescott let the throw rip to the wrong side where Williams awaited for perhaps the easiest interception of his career.
The 49ers took over at the Cowboys’ 26 and didn’t need long to score. One handoff to the right edge was all Deebo Samuel needed to score his first touchdown of the game. It was his ninth rushing touchdown of the season and the 49ers’ second rushing score of the game.
