49ers players react to Nick Bosa selection on Twitter

The 49ers made Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s draft Thursday night. He was widely considered the top player in the draft, and some 49ers players quickly expressed their excitement about the pick on Twitter.

Tight end George Kittle and one of the emotional leaders on the team won’t line up with Bosa. That didn’t stop him from welcoming the former Buckeye.

Backup quarterback Nick Mullens weighed in as well.

Several 49ers defenders jumped in to welcome their new defensive end.
