The 49ers injury woes in the second level continued in the second half Sunday vs. the Vikings. After losing linebacker Dre Greenlaw to a groin injury, linebacker Fred Warner was announced as questionable to return with a hamstring injury.
Warner has been an iron man for the 49ers so far in his career. He hasn’t missed a game and it’s been rare that he’s come off the field. Azeez Al-Shaair is the only healthy starting LB for San Francisco. Al-Shaair took over as the Mike linebacker with Marcell Harris entering at Will.
