All the work for Deebo Samuel eventually caught up with the wide receiver. On a run play late in the third quarter, Samuel was cut down for a six-yard loss and stayed down with what turned out to be a groin injury. He is officially questionable to return.
He limped slowly off the field and walked slowly to the medical tent for evaluation. The club announced his status a short while later. After leaving the tent he stood without his helmet on the sideline.
This is the fourth injury issue for the 49ers on Sunday. Linebacker Dre Greenlaw is out with a groin issue, along with running back Trey Sermon who has an ankle injury. LB Fred Warner is questionable with a hamstring injury.
