The 49ers official Week 5 injury report came without any surprises. Dee Ford was a limited participant Saturday in practice, which bodes well for his chances to play Monday night. Running back Tevin Coleman was also limited Saturday as he has been all week. He’s still working his way back from a high ankle sprain. The 49ers don’t need to rush Coleman back given their depth in the backfield, but he’s valuable enough that they’ll play him if he’s fully healthy.
Ahkello Witherspoon is still out with a sprained foot, and Joe Staley is still missing time with a broken fibula.
