The 49ers just needed their injury report to remain the same throughout the week. They had no such luck after tight end George Kittle was limited in Friday’s practice and officially listed as questionable on the team’s injury report. Kittle suffered a groin injury during practice after not being on the practice report at all during the week. Head coach Kyle Shanahan expects Kittle to play though.
There was another, more welcome bit of injury news Friday for the 49ers. Defensive end Dee Ford was a limited participant in practice again, but he was not listed at all on the injury report after being questionable the last two games. He may not see a full complement of snaps Sunday, but he should get more than the 16 he played in Week 3, and the 17 he played in Week 5.
Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin missed practice for personal reasons, but head coach Kyle Shanahan expects the receiver to play Sunday.
