Nick Bosa’s absence is the most notable thing on the 49ers’ list of Week 2 inactives. He’s dealt with an ankle injury all week, but Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that the rookie defensive end would play. His name not being among the inactives confirms he’ll be be in uniform vs. Cincinnati.

Verrett is a healthy scratch for the second consecutive week. His inability to contribute on special teams or at slot corner makes it difficult for the team to activate him Sundays.
Ward is also continuing to deal with a broken finger. He was in practice all week in a non-contact jersey, and he’ll continue to miss games if he can’t get out of that jersey in practice.
