The most notable part of the 49ers Week 7 inactives are the names not present on the list. Cornerback Charvarius Ward and strong safety Talanoa Hufanga are both not listed among the inactives, which means they’ll suit up and play against Kansas City.

Ward was dealing with a groin injury during the week and didn’t get into practice until a limited session Friday. Hufanga was on the same track, but didn’t get cleared from concussion protocol until after Friday.
This is as healthy as the 49ers have been in several weeks, and new running back Christian McCaffrey is active which indicates he’ll have some kind of role for San Francisco.
