Raheem Mostert has been the lone bright spot on offense for the 49ers through the first three quarters Monday night in Denver. He ran the ball effectively and made plays as a receiver.
His biggest play of the game came on a second-and-10 on the 49ers’ first drive of the second half. He took a handoff at the Broncos’ 30, found a hole and used his speed to pull away from the Denver defense.
Mostert may not get a ton of action on offense, but he’s showed off an explosiveness that makes him extremely effective in Kyle Shanahan’s offense. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him get time on that side of the ball this year.
