Mitch Wishnowsky was making a habit of kicking the ball out of the back of the end zone on kickoffs. He didn’t hit his kickoff after the 49ers’ second touchdown out of the end zone, but he still got his money’s worth.
Wishnowsky flew up and laid down a perfect form tackle on the Broncos’ kick returner Devontae Jackson.
That’s awesome to see from a defender, much less a punter.
San Francisco probably doesn’t want Wishnowsky in a position to make plays like this very often, but the fact he can make it is a nice bonus from the fourth-round pick.
