The 49ers poured it on in the second half Monday night against the Broncos. They led 17-9 late in the fourth quarter with the ball at Denver’s 1-yard line.
Nick Mullens threw a beautiful ball on a fade for Kendrick Bourne, who went up over the defensive back and showed off excellent body control to get his feet in bounds for the score.
Bourne needed a play like this after a drop earlier in the game. He might be the team’s best red zone threat.
