The 49ers were trailing 20-17 at the two-minute warning. Then Jimmy Garoppolo found Dante Pettis.
This is a terrific play by Pettis for a couple reasons. First, he’s struggled all year to find playing time and targets. He earned five targets Sunday, and caught four for 20 yards and a touchdown.
A couple downs prior to this, he dropped a would-be touchdown because he didn’t do enough to fight back toward the football. He did that on this play and picked up the game-winning score.
