49ers highlights: 49ers defense forces turnover in red zone

The 49ers defense did something in the second quarter that they didn’t do much last year – they generated a turnover.

On a third-and-goal from the 49ers’ 19, Bucs tight end OJ Howard caught a pass and looked to be settling down to take a field goal. Instead, K’Waun Williams and Fred Warner stepped in on the tackle and forced the ball out.

Ronald Blair was there to recover.

Unfortunately for the 49ers, they gave the ball right back on a pick-six from Jimmy Garoppolo to Vernon Hargreaves.
