49ers dominating early Pro Bowl voting

With the final quarter of the NFL season around the corner, the first waves of Pro Bowl voting from the 2023 campaign is beginning to be revealed. On Wednesday, the NFL announced another round of Pro Bowl votes. While Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa leads the pack, members of the San Francisco 49ers are littered near the top of the list.

Behind Tagovailoa, 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey sits at No. 2. with 100,008 votes. Quarterback Brock Purdy cracked the top-five with 84, 613 votes.

The 49ers lead all NFL teams in total votes received with the Dolphins sitting right behind them. Ten different members of the 49ers are sitting in pole position to represent the NFC at the Pro Bowl.

Fan voting is open through Christmas day on Monday, Dec. 25. Players and coaches will then place their votes on Dec. 29. Players with the most amount of votes will head to Orlando in early Feb. for Pro Bowl weekend.
