Feb. 19--All San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick wanted to do was share his day with his Twitter followers. But, it is social media, after all, so it was just a matter of time before someone had to hate on No. 7.
That was a big mistake.
Kaepernick, who has more than 719,000 followers on Twitter, blasted the man who chose to take a digital swing at him first.
Kaepernick was applauded by fans and even a few journalists for telling the critic to back off.
It all began like this:
1000 abs.... arm workout..... 10 min straight on the jump rope.... 2 hour study session in February..... that's what we call a recovery day!
-- Colin Kaepernick (@Kaepernick7) February 18, 2015
Then someone just had to chime in.
@Kaepernick7 @49ers ab workout won't help find open receiver #study

And then it was on.
@battman_returns are you illiterate or just ignorant? Read the tweet again better yet give me your breakdown of every defensive coverage
