The Arizona Cardinals’ next game is on the road against the 8-1 San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are dealing with a number of injuries and the Cardinals might get several breaks with the players who will and might miss the game.
Although the first injury report of the week will not come out until Wednesday, there are enough injured players to get an idea about today.
They already are without linebacker Kwon Alexander, who exited the game against the Cardinals and suffered a season-ending torn pectoral.
Read to find out more about the players the 49ers could be without when they face the Cardinals for the second time in three weeks.
LT Joe Staley

Staley missed the game against the Cardinals, coming back from a fractured leg. In his first game back on Monday against the Seattle Seahawks, he suffered a fractured and dislocated finger. It could require surgery, which would mean missing a couple of weeks. It appears he will miss this week’s game against the Cardinals.
K Robbie Gould

Gould missed Monday’s game against the Seahawks with a quad injury. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan does not know if he will return against the Cardinals. They will test him out to see. If he can’t play, it would again be Chase McLaughlin to handle kicking duties. He missed a potential game-winning kick in overtime on Monday.
TE George Kittle

Kittle injured his knee and ankle against the Cardinals. He missed the game against the Seahawks. It is not known yet whether he will be able to come back this week. His status is up in the air.
WR Emmanuel Sanders

Sanders gave the Cardinals fits two weeks ago. Against the Seahawks, he left the game with a rib injury and was ruled out immediately for the rest of the game. He is considered day-to-day so we will see how much he participates in practice when the injury reports come out this week.
DL Ronald Blair

Blair is a rotational pass rusher and his season is over. He tore his ACL on Monday night.
DT D.J. Jones

Jones, a starter on the defensive interior, has a groin injury and is day-to-day.
RB Matt Breida

Breida, the team’s leading rusher, reaggravated an ankle injury, per Tom Pelissero. He dealt with lingering ankle issues last season. He might have to miss against the Cardinals.
