A woman is in hospital with "life-threatening" injuries after an assault in Swansea.
The assault occurred in the Mayhill area just before 5pm on Tuesday, December 1.
A 48-year-old woman has been taken to the University Hospital of Wales, in Cardiff, following the incident.
Officers from South Wales Police are carrying out enquiries in the area as part of the investigation.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "We are investigating a serious assault upon a 48 year-old woman at an address in the Mayhill area of the city which was reported shortly before 5pm today (Tuesday, December 1).
"The woman has been taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
"Her injuries are described as life-threatening.
"Local enquiries are being carried out.
"The investigation into this incident is continuing."
