$479 per person for 3 nights each in Rome, Venice and Florence

Aug. 17--Here are some of the more interesting deals, websites and other travel tidbits that came across our desk recently:

--Tourcrafters has a good deal on a land-only, off-season package in Italy. It's priced from $479 per person double occupancy and includes three nights each in Rome, Venice and Florence, rail transit between cities, free pizza and gelato in Rome and Florence and a tour of Murano in Venice. --Bolongo Bay Beach Resort on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, has a September to Remember offer that lets three adults stay free in a room with one paying adult. --The Online Vacation Center has a 14-night Asia cruise aboard Celebrity Cruises on Jan. 3, 2016, that's priced from $1,399 per person double occupancy for a veranda cabin.
