A 47-year-old man was rushed to hospital after falling from a rock face at Traprain Law in East Lothian at the weekend.
Police, fire crews and the ambulance service were all called to attend following reports that a walker had been badly hurt in an incident at the Haddington peak on Saturday (8 February).
Upon arrival they established that the man had fallen around 15-metres down a rocky face on the hill, and suffered shoulder and rib injuries.
Emergency teams, working with advice from the coastguard, used specialist equipment to recover the climber before rushing him off to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Traprain Law, which is around four miles east of Haddington, sits at around 725ft high, and is popular with walkers and climbers.
