The ECHO is today publishing the names of men and women in Merseyside who died alone this year.
Throughout 2022 Merseyside Police on behalf of coroner's officers has released the names of people who have died alone. A search is underway to trace their relatives, otherwise they could be laid to rest in lonely funerals, known as public health funerals, which are organised by the local authority.
The ECHO is listing the names of people whose relatives police are still trying to trace.

Anyone with information about somebody who died in Liverpool or Wirral is asked to email HMCoroner@liverpool.gov.uk or call 0151 351 0038. Anyone with information about somebody who died in Sefton, Knowsly or St Helens is asked to call (0151) 934 2399 or email Coroner@sefton.gov.uk.
Christopher Finnan
Christopher Finnan, 57 years, died at his home on Rock Lane East on December 15.
Danuta Rolczynska
Ilona Simaliute, who was also known as Danuta Rolczynska, died at her home on Saturday, December 17, at the age of 60.
John Dickinson
John Dickinson died at his home on Beach Road in Litherland on Tuesday, December, 13. He was 76.
David Latchford
David Latchford died at his home on Church Road, Haydock, on Sunday, December 4, aged 66.
Peter Atkinson
Peter Anthony Atkinson died at his home on Fleetwood Road, Southport, on Sunday, November 18, aged 71.
John Beale
John Beale died at his home on Wargrave Road, Newton Le-Willows on Thursday, December 1, aged 75.
Brian Lowe
Brian Lowe died at his home on Guion Road, Litherland, on Thursday, December, 1, aged 65.
Phillip Disley
Philip Disley died on Saturday, December 3. He was 66 and lived in Thingwall Lane.
Susan Roberts
Susan Roberts died on Monday, November 21 at her home on Betula Close. She was 70.
Tommy Man Sang Lo
Tommy Man Sang Lo died at Royal Liverpool University Hospital on Friday, November 4.
Ah Ping Wan
Ah Ping Wan, 83 years, died at his home on Faulkner Square, Toxteth on Wednesday, November 9.
Kathleen Sephton
Kathleen Sephton, 88 years, died at her home on Marina Avenue in Bootle on October 28.
John Andrew Ashcroft
John Ashcroft, 77, died at his home address in Park Road, Southport on Monday, October 3. It is believed he may have a son that resides in Pittsburgh, America and a daughter that resides in France.
George Neville Hulme
George Hulme died in hospital on Saturday, October 8. He was 73 and lived on Alexandra Drive.
Edna Marshall
Edna Marshall died at her home on Park Road South, Newton Le Willows aged 89.
Peter Arthur Jackson
Peter Arthur Jackson died at his home on Talbot Street on Thursday, October 29, aged 75.
Michael Rushton
Michael Rushton died at his home in Kingsland Road, Birkenhead, aged 67.
Donald Roberts
Donald Roberts, 91 years, died at his home on Park Road, Southport on August 25.
Henry Locket
Henry Locket died at his home last month. Mr Locket was 84, and was also known to some as John Locket.
Carl Vincent
Carl Vincent, 41 years, died at The YMCA Ullet Road in Toxteth on Sunday, August 7. Carl is believed to have relatives in the Middlesborough area.
Michael Smith
Michael Smith, 67 years, died at his home on Hillside Avenue, Huyton on Wednesday, August 3.

Geraint Roberts, also known as Gerry Roberts, of the YMCA on Lister Road, died on Friday, June 24. He was 58.

Irene Boocock, 72 years, of Towson Street, Everton, who died at her home on Monday, June 20.

Barbara Davies was a resident of Greenfields Care Home in Denton’s Green, and died in hospital on Sunday, June 12.

Beryl died at her home on Sexton Avenue, St Helens on Saturday, June 18. She was 67.
Judith Briscoe
Judith Briscoe, who was a resident in a care home in Waterloo, died at University Hospital Aintree on June 12.
Michael Marsden
Michael Marsden, 71 years, died at his home on Marlborough Road in Southport on June 1.
George Barry Crook
