A reunion to bring old school friends back together after four decades is to take place.
Lynne Woodhouse, of Daybrook, said she started a group for Arnold Hill Comprehensive on Facebook which made it easier to find people.
The Class of 1979 Arnold Hill Comp group now has nearly 80 members, after only having around 20 when it started in 2016.
Now Ms Woodhouse has arranged a reunion for the class's 40th anniversary.
The 56-year-old retail worker said: "It would be good to get the magic 40 attending.
"It's just an informal meeting, people can bring photos and catch up. I have always tried to keep in touch with people.
"I know we have lost a few along the way but it would be great to get as many people as possible from the 1979 class."
A reunion was held in 2004 for the 25th anniversary and another more recently in 2017, but Ms Woodhouse hopes this will draw in more visitors.
Ms Woodhouse added: "We have people hoping to come from Spain, Canada, Wales, London and Yorkshire.
"It's nice to see how everyone's lives have evolved, what they have accomplished, and hear about their children and now grandchildren."
The reunion will be held on Saturday, October 5 at The Arrow Pub on Gedling Road, Arnold from 7pm.
