£40m Gateway Four mammoth super-shed completes in South Yorkshire

A £40 million 411,470 sq ft speculative industrial unit has completed near Doncaster.

Trebor Developments and Hillwood have realised the mammoth distribution or manufacturing unit, which now stands on a 25 acre site at Armthorpe, South Yorkshire.

Large yards on either side give access to 38 loading doors and extensive lorry parking for 75 HGVs.

Built by Readie Construction, it also includes state-of-the-art offices, electric vehicle charging stations and car parking for up to 317 vehicles with direct access from the A630 to Junction Four of the M18 - less than a mile away from the site entrance.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner for Trebor, said: “It is fantastic to see the Gateway Four building completed and to such an outstanding quality.

"The working relationship with the professional team and Readie Construction has been excellent throughout to deliver this fantastic building, with the construction being delivered during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We are delighted with the range of interest we have received in relation to the building to date and given the competitive terms on offer, together with the quality of development, we are confident that the building will not remain available for long."

It is described as one of very few immediately available large scale industrial developments in the whole of the North of England with immediate occupation available.

Agents CBRE, Knight Frank and CPP have been appointed.
