Four men were shot outside a business Sunday in Englewood on the South Side.

They were standing outside the store about 4:30 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Halsted Street when someone in a vehicle pulled up and opened fire, Chicago police said.

A 27-year-old man who was shot in the calf and knee was taken to St. Bernard Hospital with a 23-year-old man who was grazed on the arm, police said. Both men were in good condition.

Another man, 24, was grazed on the back and buttocks and refused medical treatment, police said. The fourth man, 28, was shot in the hand but refused to cooperate with officers responding to the scene. His condition was not known.

Police sources said the other men were not talking to officers either.

Earlier in the afternoon, a man was shot in the arm just blocks away in the 7200 block of South Halsted Street. Police said he was in good condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Area One detectives are investigating both shootings.

Through Aug. 16, Chicago Police Department data shows over 200 shootings reported this year in the 7th District, which covers the Englewood and West Englewood neighborhoods.
